Capitel 191: Bruxelles - Halle

Trackwidth: 1000 mm

As a branch of the line Brussel - Anderlecht - Leerbeek, plans began in 1909 for a line from Anderlecht to Halle. But because of competition with the railways the first plans were not accepted. Some years thereafter a new plan came and was carried out. The first part was made in 1914, te other part in 1916, both parts from the start as electrified line.

Finance: 2.300.000 franc (state: 1.150.000, province Brabant: 575.000, local communities: 575.000)
