Capitel 129: Jodoigne - Tirlemont - St.Truiden

In 1896 several villages asked NMVB to create a tram line from Jodoigne to Sint Truiden. Some other villages asked to make a branch from Tienen. There were some discussions about competition with railway line, but the minister accepted to create the line with two branches. In 1901 there was the autorisation to create the line.
Finance: 2.360.000 francs (state: 1.180.000, province Limburg: 74.000, province Liege: 123.000, province Brabant: 442.000, local communities: 541.000)
