Trackwidth: 1000 mm
The first plans were to create a tram line from Brussel (gare du Midi) to Overijsse. But because the section between Kleine Hut and Groenendaal was running parallel to the railway line, for this section no allowance was given. The part between Brussel and Kleine Hut was with this disallowance of no use. So only the part from groenendaal to Overijsse was created. The line was made with track width of normal gauge. This was, because much traffic was expecte from industrial sites along the line.
Finance: 872.000 franc (state: 218.000, province Brabant: 218.000, local communities: 436.000)
Running the line was by company La Ruche, but after only one year this company stopped. For a while the NMVB did running the line itself, and from 1901 the running was given to the company CFP.
Shortly before the First World War there were plans to extend the line from Overijsse to Huldenberg. But because of the war nothing of these plans was carried out.
Passengers transport stopped in 1934. But in 1943 passenger transport was renewed, in 1949 it was stopped definitively. Goods transport remained until 1963.
