Capitel 51: Glons - Kanne

Trackwidth: 1000 mm

There were several plans for tram lines in these surroundings. At first there was a combination with the line Tongeren-Maastricht with branch to Visé with also a part of the line to Glons or to Liers. But that plan was split and a new plan was made to create a line from Glons to Maastricht over Bassenge and Kanne. The line was opened in 18993 (Glons - Kanne) and 1894 (Kanne - Maastricht).

Finance: 596.000 franc (state: 149.000, province Limburg: 138.000, province Liège : 51.000, local communities: 248.000)
