Capitel 14: Wavre - Jodoigne

First plans to create a normal gauge railway line was in 1878. Later on plans changed and in 1885 a plan to create a meter gauge tramline was made. The first plans were to create two tramlines (Wavre - Jodoigne and Wavre - Perwez), but later on plans changed to make one line. Plans were finalized on 1 may 1887.
Financing: 1.705.000 Francs (state 852.000, province of Brabant 427.000, local governement 382.000 and private persons 44.000).
