Capitel 76: Leuven - Tervuren

Trackwidth: 1000 mm

Already in 1885 there were plans to create a tram line from Leuven to Tervuren. But the community of Vossem rejected to participate in the project. Several years passed and it was in 1892 that the descision was made to create the line without participation of Vossem. In 1896 the line was official autorised.

Financing: 968.000 franc (state 323.000, province Brabant 242.000, local communities 403.000).
